A Very Special Breakfast
We pride ourselves on the quality and the local sourcing of our food. Our local produce breakfasts feature Gill's home made bread, granola, fruit coulis, yogurt and preserves, eggs are fresh from our own chickens, free range dry cured bacon is locally reared and supplied by Sue Harris at Twyardreath along with her Cornish specialty Hog Pudding. In season the tomatoes are our own super tasty heirloom varieties that we grow for Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant and the fruit coulis is made from Buttervilla organic strawberries or raspberries and the preserves are from our own damsons, strawberries, blackcurrant's or raspberries. Rose Prince the Telegraph's lead food writer is a great fan of Buttervilla produce, check out her recipe here where she is using our gariguette strawberries.
