A Very Special Breakfast
We pride ourselves on the quality and the local sourcing of our food. Our award winning local produce breakfasts feature Gill's home made bread, granola, coulis, yogurt and preserves - made from Buttervilla organic fruit. The eggs are fresh from our own chickens, the free range dry cured bacon is locally reared and supplied by Sue Harris at Twyardreath along with her Cornish specialty Hog Pudding. In season the tomatoes are our own super tasty heirloom varieties that we grow especially for Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant and the coffee is fresh roasted in Cornwall

Buttervilla Growers
The Buttervilla Growers group supply Jamie's Fifteen Cornwall and a select group
of local restaurants with some of the finest Cornish produce. Around 20 growers, based locally and who farm organically on a very small scale make up this community of growers. The first picking of the produce goes to the fine dining restaurants, we also have a box scheme which supplies the local community with fruit, veg and other produce such as breads from Fifteen and coffee from a local roaster. Any produce left over is then given to the homeless, so a very wide range of folks get to eat some very tasty local produce. Robert Hocking your host at Buttervilla B&B who is responsible for marketing, sales and grows a mean tomato or two has been selected as one of twenty BBC Countryfile Food Hero's for 2009
