Our three large double rooms are comfortably furnished in a contemporary style, each room has en-suite facilities with eco-friendly spring water fed solar heated showers.

Room 1 has a king size bed and is situated at the front of the house.
The rooms are fitted with all the conveniences you would expect. Books, local restaurant information together with maps of the best local walks and places to visit are also at hand.
Room 2 has a double bed and exposed old wooden beams.
We have lots of private outdoor seating areas with great views where you can relax and enjoy a drink. Feel free to wonder around the fruit gardens and in season sneak a taste of our fruit or a super tasty heirloom tomato direct from the vine.
Room 3 has a king size bed and is situated at the front of the house
Lots of birds, including the rare lesser spotter woodpecker visit the feeders attached to all the bedroom windows. Wander around the grounds, relax on the well sited benches with fabulous views and spot partridge, pheasant, deer, buzzards, kestrels, geese, lots of rabbits and if your lucky, the elusive wild cat.

The Birds of Buttervilla - from your Room
Buttervilla's fifteen organic acres are a sanctuary for wildlife and we help by retaining the old thick hedgerows, leaving areas of wildness, which encourages the hunting birds and provides feed from the wild plant seeds. We also have bird feeders outside the bedroom windows so our guests can lie in bed in the mornings and watch the birds feeding. The woodpecker comes most days, buzzards soar and kestrels hover over the woods and fields, its a wonderful sight. The original hangs in our sitting room but each of the guests bedrooms has a print to help identify the birds. A signed limited edition of the print is available at £24 to remind guests of their visit to this very beautiful part of the world.
